PREPARE A SHAKE WITH A LOT OF VITAMIN C!

Ascorbic acid or better known as vitamin C, is an essential nutrient for humans since, in the absence of vitamin C, we could suffer from tiredness, weakness and irritability. Its consumption during a cold provides multiple health benefits as it is an antioxidant and helps protect cells against damage caused by free radicals. Human beings cannot produce vitamin C and we cannot store it either, which is why it is important to include it in our consumption habits. To do this, today we have a recipe for a smoothie with a lot of vitamin C and other nutritional properties.


Pineapple+orange+Terraloe smoothie


Ingredients:


- 2 cups of pineapple slices

- 1 cup of natural orange juice

- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt or vanilla flavor

- ¾ cup of milk

- 2 tablespoons of Terraloe



Preparation:


In the blender add all the ingredients in the order mentioned above. Blend, serve and enjoy!


Note: if you don't like feeling bits of pineapple, you can blend it and then strain it.
